At Roman Bicycles, we’re committed to ensuring your order reaches you swiftly and safely. Below is a detailed guide to how we deliver within the UK, and what you can expect.

Dispatch Times

  • Orders placed before 3:00 pm (UK time), Monday to Friday, will usually be dispatched the same working day.

  • Orders placed after 3:00 pm, or during weekends or public holidays, will be dispatched on the next working day.

Delivery Methods & Times

We offer the following delivery options within Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales):

Shipping Costs

Delivery charges depend on your location and the size/weight of your order. The exact cost will be calculated at checkout. Occasionally, for bulky items such as framesets or complete bikes, there may be a surcharge—if so, we will notify you before confirming your order.

Tracking & Notifications

Once your order is dispatched, we’ll send you an email containing your tracking number and a link so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.

If any issue arises (for instance, a delay with the courier), we’ll be in touch immediately to let you know and propose a solution.

Delivery Requirements & Safety

  • Someone must be present to receive the parcel.

  • Please inspect the package carefully—you have the right to refuse delivery if it is damaged.

  • If you believe the item has been lost in transit, contact us right away at info@romanbicycles.co.uk so we can assist you in resolving the matter.

Returns & Exchanges

We hope you love what you ordered, but if you need to return or exchange an item:

  • Please notify us within 14 days of receiving your delivery.

  • The goods must be returned in original condition, unused and in original packaging.

  • Return shipping costs are usually borne by the customer, unless the item is faulty, damaged or we have made an error.
