Product Details & Geometry

Roman EVO TT

The Roman EVO TT is a modern time trial and triathlon frameset built for riders who want real-world speed and adjustability, not just a pretty wind-tunnel number.

It combines a slippery aero frame with a highly adjustable front end and wide-stance fork, so you can run today’s deep, wide-rim disc wheels and still hit the position you need for club 10s, 25s, long-course triathlon and everything in between.

Fully adjustable, modern front end
Most TT bikes still ship with front ends that look aero in photos but are a nightmare to actually adjust.

The EVO TT is the opposite:
• Properly adjustable poles and extensions – designed so you can actually change height, reach and angle, rather than being locked into one extreme position.
• High-hand, aero-friendly design – current “high hands” style extensions that make it easier to get into a fast, sustainable aero posture.
• Easy to refine over time – start a little conservative, then lower/lengthen as you adapt, without needing a new cockpit every time.

Whether you’re chasing a UCI-style aggressive setup or a long-course tri position you can hold off the turbo and out on real roads, the EVO TT front end is built to help you find it.

Wide fork for modern wheels
The EVO TT is designed around today’s disc brake, wide-rim wheel combinations:
• Super-wide fork blades and rear stays to give clearance for modern, wide-section aero rims.
• Geometry and stiffness tuned so the bike feels planted and predictable, even with deep wheels in crosswinds.
• Clean integration around the front wheel to keep airflow tidy through the fork crown area.

Run your favourite deep wheels without worrying about rub, flex or odd handling.

Fast in real-world conditions
This isn’t a wind-tunnel concept bike that only works on paper. The EVO TT is built for:
• British TT courses – rougher tarmac, roundabouts, crosswinds and constant changes in pace.
• Triathlon courses – long periods in the bars, variable gradients and tired legs.

The frame aims to balance outright aero efficiency with stability and control, so you can stay in position and keep pushing when the road, weather and traffic are less than perfect.

Who the EVO TT is for
• Club time triallists through to national-level riders
• Triathletes who want a modern, adjustable aero position they can live in on race day
• Riders frustrated by old-school cockpits that are hard to adjust or don’t work with current wheelsets
• Anyone wanting a dedicated TT/tri platform that won’t be obsolete the moment you change wheels or position

Build it your way
Pair the EVO TT frameset with:
• Your choice of groupset (mechanical or electronic where compatible)
• Modern disc brake wheelsets (especially wide-rim aero options)
• A professional TT / tri bike fit to unlock the full benefit of the adjustable front end

“I’ve ridden a lot of bikes over the years from big-name brands to custom builds but the Roman Aero has genuinely surprised me. The first thing that stands out is how balanced it feels. It’s aero and fast when you’re on the gas, but still smooth enough to hold speed over rough roads or longer efforts. The front end feels planted really confidence-inspiring on descents and when you sprint, there’s no hesitation. You can feel every watt going straight into forward motion. Paired with the Laminar wheels, it’s properly rapid. The whole setup feels like it’s been designed by people who understand racers not just engineers or marketers. After a few weeks of racing and training on it, I can honestly say it’s a bike I’d happily race all season. It’s quick, comfortable, and looks incredible in the black finish. Roman have nailed it.” Ollie Peckover UK Road & Time Trial Winner | Roman Bikes Ambassador

Chris Opie Roman Superlight Review “I’ve ridden a lot of bikes in my time from pro team setups to the latest test bikes in the industry and the Roman Superlight instantly felt like a proper race bike. I only had an hour on it, but that was enough to know it’s the real deal. The response when you accelerate is sharp, and the handling feels dialled in straight away light, fast, and composed. You can tell it’s been built with racers in mind. It’s the kind of bike that makes you want to push harder the moment you get on it.” Chris Opie Ex-Professional Cyclist | Former GCN Presenter | Muc-Off
