Champion Beginnings

Jon Sharples claimed victory in the Sussex Division Championships, marking the start of a lifelong passion for performance, precision, and pushing the limits of cycling. That win laid the foundation for a career dedicated to understanding what truly drives success on two wheels.

Building on his racing experience, Jon founded TrainSharp, a pioneering cycling coaching company focused on blending science with real-world performance. Over the years, TrainSharp has worked with elite athletes including Eddie Dunba rand nurtured emerging talents such as Josh Golliker, helping riders at every level unlock their full potential.

Roman Race Team – Developing the Next Generation


Building on the shared vision of performance and progression, Roman Bicycles became the proud sponsor of TrainSharp’s own racing team — the Roman Race Team. Focused on nurturing Junior and U23 riders, the team provides young talent with elite-level coaching, equipment, and race experience across the UK and Europe.
